Player Protection Team Leader - Nights

Join to apply for the Player Protection Team Leader - Nights (training period will be during the day) role at LiveScore Group.

Working hours: Between 8pm and 8am on shift rotation. Operating hours are 24/7, so flexibility will be required where necessary. Hybrid working is available after successful probation completion (2 days in the office per week). Our priority is to get you confidently leading our night team as soon as you are ready. Onboarding will begin with essential training and shadowing shifts in our office during the day. Once you are up to speed, we will transition you to your permanent night schedule, which can happen quickly within your four-month probation period depending on experience and progress.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that critical, high-risk operational procedures related to safer gambling are complied with to protect both our customers and the company. You will be responsible for all results analysis, documentation, and escalation. You will record procedures and controls, reporting on their progress, and play a crucial role in process modifications. Doing the right thing for the customer will be the driving force behind all you do. Since we operate around the clock, flexibility in terms of working hours is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

* Operational Awareness: Take ownership of the effective delivery of player protection processes while ensuring excellent service and delivery of department KPI’s. Continuously review and analyse performance and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
* Product Knowledge: Build product knowledge across brands to support operational awareness, management of the operation and development of direct reports.
* Developing Team Performance: Lead by example with people management duties. Recognise key motivators to drive a high-performance culture and support personal development within the team.
* Absence Management: Manage and understand the impact of absence on the business. Address patterns proactively to reduce absence by team and department.
* Task Management: Balance multiple tasks while supporting the team and collaborating with peers to implement new initiatives.
* Recruitment & Resource Management: Identify and recruit talent; align resources with activity and business needs.
* Continuous Improvements: Embed quality and service standards, monitor performance, identify improvements, and produce reports for stakeholders.
* Fostering trust and open dialogue: Create a supportive environment, provide coaching, treat all team members with fairness and respect.
* Team Collaboration: Share insights on trends and regulatory updates; collaborate with the team and stakeholders to achieve goals.
* Compliance: Ensure staff adherence to internal Responsible Gambling and UKGC policies and procedures; manage operator complaints per regulatory requirements.
* Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive success across the business.


Skills, Knowledge And Experience

* Leading a Team: Experience in motivating high performance, guiding cultural change, and providing feedback and coaching.
* Driving Operational Performance: Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting performance targets; good IT skills and experience with CRM systems.
* Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the competitive landscape and regulatory compliance within online gambling and responsible gaming regulations is advantageous.
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building with stakeholders and customers; ability to manage challenging conversations constructively.
* Independent Working: Sound judgment, self-starting mindset, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
