Role Purpose
As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our site remains safe, clean, and compliant with strict food hygiene standards. You will carry out both routine and specialist cleaning tasks, supporting operational excellence and contributing to a positive working environment for colleagues, visitors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Mopping of entrances, corridors, stairs, locker rooms, canteens, and toilets
* Emptying and sanitising bins across all designated areas
* Cleaning and sanitising sinks, toilets, and urinals
* Cleaning canteen areas including tables, chairs, cupboards, microwaves, and work surfaces
* Cleaning walls, doors, and factory surfaces as scheduled
* Replenish consumables and hygiene supplies in factory areas
* Collect, store, and distribute factory garments from the supplier
* Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in line with health, safety, and hygiene procedures
* Report any issues or hazards promptly to the Hygiene Supervisor
* Work collaboratively to uphold site hygiene standards and support continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
* Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in hygiene, cleaning, or food manufacturing (desirable, but not essential – full training will be provided)
