Our client is seeking a motivated and ambitious Town Planner to join their growing team in Ipswich. Responsibilities
* Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
* Providing planning advice to a broad range of clients
* Undertaking site appraisals and planning research
* Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation
* Liaising with local authorities, consultees and stakeholders
* Managing projects and maintaining strong client relationships
* Monitoring planning policy and legislative changes
* Supporting senior colleagues on larger and more complex schemes
About You
* Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
* MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
* Previous experience within a planning consultancy, local authority or property environment
* Strong report writing and communication skills
* Commercial awareness and a client‑focused approach
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Full UK driving licence
