Job Requirement
This temporary post is only available to all permanent and temporary employees and agency workers currently on assignment within East Dunbartonshire Council.

Please note you will be asked to provide the names of two referees when you apply for this post, but these are not required at the application stage. You should print off the role profile and Head Teacher's report and give them to your Head Teacher for completion.
To ensure your application is accepted, it is essential that the Head Teacher report is signed by and emailed from the Head Teacher who completed the report to the email address below.
It is also important to include the (EAD) reference number of the post on the report form. The report should then be submitted by the Head Teacher to: office@boclair.e-dunbarton.sch.uk prior to the closing date.
Failure to do so may result in your application being excluded from shortlisting.
PVG / Disclosure Scotland
Where the post you are applying for is considered a Regulated Role under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to employment confirmation. The costs for these checks will be deducted from your first salary payment, or in some cases, in installments from your wages following employment commencement. The full amount will be deducted from your final salary if you leave before the deduction is complete.
This applies to both new applicants and existing employees of East Dunbartonshire Council applying for roles requiring a PVG/Disclosure check.
