We are currently seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join a Specialist School and sports college supporting students aged 2-10 with severe learning difficulties and other complex mental and physical needs.

Hours: Permanent - Full Time - Term time only
The role offers the successful candidate support and a personalised CPD to develop leadership skills as well as receiving mentorship from the senior leadership team. You will be supported to meet the threshold of standards and have a key input in the wider curriculum and staff development.

The role offers the successful candidate to gain support and a personalised CPD to develop leadership skills as well as receiving mentorship from the senior leadership team. You will be supported to meet the threshold of standards and have a key input in the wider curriculum and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the long, medium and short term planning of the curriculum and delivery of lessons
* Management of pupil behaviour in accordance with the schemes of work
* Maximise Teaching and Learning through effective management of human resources
* Monitoring of pupils progress through target setting and writing of individual education plans
* Assess and report on development for EHCP's
* Liaise with other professionals: Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Advisory Teachers, Medical Professionals etc.
Experience / Qualifications:
* PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
* QTS status is highly desirable
* Experience within an SEN / SEMH setting is highly desirable
* Experience of supporting students with complex or SEN needs
