Role Purpose:

Since 2007, LABC Warranty has partnered with the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) to provide structural warranties. Our unique partnership allows us to offer building control and warranties throughout England and Wales. Customer growth and retention are extremely important to us, and we are now seeking a Key Account Manager to join our sales team and support service excellence for our customers.

The role reports directly to the Regional Director. You will support in maintaining client needs, work closely to acquire new business, and provide support from quoting to completion. The ideal candidate will be London-based and primarily work remotely when not attending client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

* Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
* Develop strong relationships with customers, key business executives, and stakeholders, and prepare sales reports.
* Accurately report on account status.
* Liaise with cross-functional teams internally to ensure a consistent customer experience.
* Collaborate with the LABC sales team to achieve KPIs while maintaining client satisfaction and engagement.
* Answer client queries and identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
* Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
* Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or similar role.
* Experience in generating new business successfully.
* Ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
* Solid understanding and experience with CRM software and MS Office.
* Experience delivering client-focused solutions tailored to customer needs.
