About the Role: Design and deliver engaging and informative Art lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum. Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and critical thinking. Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of art history, techniques, and contemporary art movements. Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable). Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts department and other departments to create interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall learning experience. Contribute to the school's arts program by organizing exhibitions, workshops, and extracurricular activities. The Ideal Candidate: Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art or a closely related discipline. Demonstrates a strong passion for art and a captivating teaching style. Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management. Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and individual creativity.
