You will be part of the Tech Ops Division within the Line Maintenance organization. As an FAA Airframe & Power-plant Certificated Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for routine and non-routine line maintenance for American Airlines and other customer airlines.
What you'll do
* Provide line maintenance and troubleshooting on American Airlines & customer aircraft types B777 and B787.
* Ensure compliance with safety directives and safe work practices.
* Complete assigned checks and remedial work promptly.
* Perform tasks and document all work accurately and comprehensively.
* Comply with FAA and other relevant regulations.
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
* A valid FAA Airframe/Powerplant Mechanics License (preferred) or a valid EASA License.
* A valid UK driving license or equivalent.
* The right to live and work in the UK without restrictions.
* The ability to obtain an ID for unescorted airside access (subject to criminal record check).
* Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
* Comprehensive knowledge of commercial aviation maintenance.
* Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including weekends, bank, and public holidays.
