The vacancy Are you an experienced HR professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're looking for an assistant HR business partner to work closely with a senior HR business partner to deliver a comprehensive HR generalist service to our customer experience directorate. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, thrives in a fast-paced changing environment, and wants to make a real impact. A key part of the role will be to build strong partnerships with leaders and teams across the business, helping them to deliver excellent outcomes through people. You'll support all aspects of HR, from role design and job evaluation to employee relations, organisational change, and performance development. Your day to day will include provide expert advice on restructures and workforce changes, manage pay and review processes, and support recruitment and succession planning aligned with future workforce needs. You'll contribute to shaping our culture and values through initiatives that promote wellbeing, engagement, and high performance. Using data-driven insights, you'll help deliver measurable outcomes. This role is available as a full time 12 month fixed term contract. You can be based from any of our main offices in Chipping Sodbury, Tewkesbury, Wolverhampton or Lichfield. This role covers our geography and requires a flexible working approach with travel. A full UK driving licence and the ability to pass a basic DBS check are required. You will have: CIPD qualification Solid HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations Experience managing complex HR cases and supporting change programmes Confidence in using data and insight to inform decisions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Sound judgement and the ability to work independently A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to excellent service The ability to manage competing priorities and remain resilient under pressure Confidence working at all levels of the business The closing date is 23 June with 1st stage interviews taking place Wednesday 2 July.
