Sunderland BID is looking for a creative and motivated individual to help deliver exciting events, engaging campaigns, and high-impact marketing that showcase our city – from the bustling city centre to the stunning seafront.
You’ll play a key role in bringing some of Sunderland’s biggest events to life, includingSunderland Restaurant Week,Food & Drink Festival, andUrban Fest. You’ll also work on major city campaigns that celebrate and promote Sunderland, managing our communications channels – from social media and newsletters to our website and more.
Working closely with the Head of Business Services, you’ll manage marketing interns and collaborate with suppliers, partners, and local businesses to develop fresh ideas, produce compelling content, and deliver initiatives that attract visitors, boost investment, and drive footfall across the city.
What to expect?
* 35 hours per week (some evenings and weekend work required)
* 25 days annual leave plus public holidays
* City centre and seafront based, 5 days a week
* Pension contribution and access to an employee assistance programme
* 2-3 years of experience required in a similar role
* Overseeing two direct reports
* £30,000 salary per annum
* Driving license required
