About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead operations at our flagship Mayfair location. This is a senior leadership role where you will take full ownership of day-to-day restaurant performance, guest experience, and team development. You will be instrumental in maintaining Madhu’s high standards while driving operational excellence, commercial performance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction
* Manage, motivate, and develop front-of-house teams to deliver consistently high standards
* Recruit, train, and mentor team members in service excellence and hospitality best practices
* Foster a positive, professional, and high-performance work culture
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
* Monitor stock levels, control costs, and manage supplier relationships
* Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care
* Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth, performance, P&L and innovation
Skills & Experience
* Proven leadership experience as a General Manager or senior manager in a high-end restaurant or hospitality environment
* Strong knowledge and appreciation of Indian cuisine and culture
* Exceptional people management and communication skills
* Commercial awareness with strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Experience in fast-paced, premium hospitality settings
* Knowledge of bar, beverage, or hotel operations is an advantage
