Job Overview: Supply Teaching Assistant We are seeking flexible, enthusiastic, and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to support schools across Bolton. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a variety of educational settings and are passionate about supporting children's learning and development. Key Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Assist individual pupils or small groups with learning activities, including those with additional needs. Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment. Prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials. Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour. Support pupils with personal care or mobility needs, where required. Supervise pupils during break times adn lunch when required. Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times. Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE, NCFE) - essential. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths - essential. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - essential. First Aid and Safeguarding training - desirable. Additional training in SEND, Team Teach, or similar - advantageous. Preferable Experience: Previous experience working in a school or educational setting. Experience supporting children with SEND or behavioural needs. Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum. Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and routines.
