The Role
We are looking for a customer focused security officer who share our passion and want to be part of a growing organisation. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors by monitoring and enforcing security measures and responding to incidents or emergencies promptly.
Responsibilities
* To provide excellent customer services to both staff and visitors.
* Control access and egress.
* Based either in reception or one of 2 floors directing visitors to correct locations, advising on appointment booking process to visitors without prior appointments.
* Responding to all incidents, assisting in emergencies and evacuations
* Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence
Skills
* Good Customer service skills
* Good communication skills with internal and external clients.
* You are capable of dealing with a variety of situations and are very customer service-focused.
* You have good organisational and record-keeping skills.
* You are IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications.
* You are well-presented at all times.
Licence Requirements
* SIA Door Supervisor/Manned Guarding is essential
* Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate is desirable.
Interview Requirements
* Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
Job Requirements
* You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
