The primary focus of the role is to retain the full portfolio of clients by providing high-quality service during the year as well as preparing a competitive annual renewal proposal.

Job Description for the Premier Broker:
1. The Premier Broker will oversee the relationship with each of their allocated clients
2. Mid-Term Adjustments ie. Additions, Deletions, Amendments
3. Claims Handling including claim reporting, repudiation challenges
4. Sub-contractor/Hire insurance checking
5. Contract Checking – typically JCT/CDM/Collateral Warranties
6. Pre-renewal/renewal meetings with customers at their premises
7. Renewal Broking
8. Renewal Report Writing
For the Premier Broker, it would be good to see candidates with:
9. At least 3 years of experience in Commercial Insurance
10. A Broker Cert C11 certificate would be advantageous
11. Excellent interpersonal skills and broking skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
12. Knowledge of Insurance Codes of Practice, Terms of Insurance, Commercial Insurance
13. Experience in conducting client meetings and presentations
14. Driving licence
15. Written and Oral Presentation skills
16. Knowledge of relevant IT systems and Software required to fulfil the role
17. Highly developed rapport-building and negotiation skills with Insurers at all levels
18. Excellent communication skills
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Salary: Negotiable
