Job Title: Credit Controller
Job Type: Part Time (3 days per week)

Eljays44 is a fast-growing international events business delivering leading trade exhibitions across the UK, USA and Middle East. As we continue to scale, we are strengthening our finance function and are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Credit Controller to join our Truro office.
This is a key role within the business. You will be responsible for protecting cash flow, maintaining strong financial discipline and supporting the wider commercial team to ensure timely collections across our global event portfolio.
The role is part time, three days per week, but carries full responsibility for the credit control function within the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the end-to-end credit control process
* Proactively chasing overdue invoices via phone and email
* Monitoring customer accounts to ensure adherence to agreed payment terms
* Reconciling incoming payments accurately and efficiently
* Investigating and resolving invoice queries and disputes
* Maintaining accurate records within Xero and internal finance trackers
* Producing weekly aged debt reports
* Supporting cash flow forecasting and highlighting credit risk
* Working closely with sales and operations teams to resolve account issues quickly
* Supporting continuous improvement of credit control processes
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable preferred
* Confident and professional telephone manner
* Strong written communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
* Competent in Excel and Google Sheets
* Experience using Xero advantageous
* AAT qualification beneficial but not essential
