The Opportunity

You’ll join a well-established Swansea office with a strong regional presence and a diverse client base. You’ll be trusted to take ownership of audit files, act as a key contact for clients, and play an important role in developing junior team members — all while continuing to progress towards Manager level.
This is a role with genuine substance, not just a title change.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
Rather than sitting in the background, you’ll be heavily involved in the full audit cycle and client relationship.
* Taking the lead on audit assignments, from initial planning through to final completion
* Being the day-to-day contact for clients, answering questions and guiding them through the process
* Reviewing audit files and supporting team members with technical and practical guidance
* Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with UK accounting standards
* Spotting risk areas, resolving issues, and ensuring quality across all assignments
* Helping to organise workloads, deadlines, and priorities across multiple engagements
* Supporting and mentoring trainees and newly qualified staff
* Working closely with senior leadership on larger and more complex assignments
