Job Overview
As an Advanced Systems Installation Design Engineer, you will be based in Bristol within our Vehicle Physical Design team. Your role involves managing the physical integration, configuration, mass properties, EWIS, and systems installations of our aircraft, ensuring optimal design solutions through collaboration across disciplines.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop drawings for equipment installation solutions.
* Support and lead integration meetings with equipment owners, EWIS, and airframe teams.
* Collaborate with stress teams to optimize design solutions.
* Participate in gate/maturity reviews.
* Adhere to configuration management rules.
* Provide CATIA 3DX expertise to the team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in systems installation and structural design.
* Expertise in CAD software, preferably CATIA.
* Strong communication skills for technical information across stakeholders.
* Understanding of aerospace standards, regulations, and materials.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative ability.
