Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care and support within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, assisted living, and patient management. This role requires a compassionate individual who can effectively lead and supervise staff while ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.
Duties
* Oversee daily operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance.
* Coordinate patient care plans, including medication administration and case management for residents with diverse needs.
* Facilitate training and development for staff members in areas such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with disabilities.
* Maintain accurate records of patient care, including medical imaging and laboratory results.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of care provided to residents.
* Address any concerns or issues raised by residents or their families promptly and professionally.
* Foster a positive environment that promotes the well-being of both residents and staff.
Requirements
* NVQ 3 or above
* Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, or nursing home settings.
* Strong background in patient care.
* Demonstrated ability in team management and supervising experience within a healthcare environment.
* Familiarity with anatomy knowledge and medication administration protocols.
* Experience working with children or toddlers is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
* A compassionate approach towards individuals requiring special care, including those with dementia or disabilities.
