What is the opportunity?
An exciting opportunity to join as Vice President within Global ESG and Investment Company Sales for a 12-month fixed-term contract in London. This role combines responsibilities for investment company distribution and ESG sales reporting to the Head of UK Sales. Time allocation between duties will vary depending on the time of year.
What will you do?
1. Assist in driving client revenue and relationships across Global Equities, primarily in Europe and globally, in both Investment company and ESG-related products.
2. Investment trusts: Help generate revenue from marketing RBC's capabilities in Investment Trusts; originate ECM opportunities, sell ECM deals, and provide feedback on brokerages.
3. ESG: Collaborate to create and compile RBC ESG content with colleagues worldwide to maximize RBC's revenue opportunities with ESG-focused institutional clients in the UK.
4. Work across all GE platform products to cross-sell, including Electronic, Equity Derivatives, and ETFs.
5. Collaborate within GE and Capital Markets to identify opportunities and drive long-term growth. Undertake and pass all required FCA exams and registrations.
Qualifications and Skills
* Knowledge of the full GE product suite.
* CFA ESG qualification preferred.
* Ability to develop, market, and monetize products.
* European language(s) an advantage.
* Client sponsorship within Global Equities.
* Revenue and business growth mindset with effective client management skills.
* Effective task management in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Account management skills.
* Ability to quickly learn technical skills and new systems.
* Attention to detail and process orientation.
* Strong ethics and understanding of European and global regulations.
* Proficiency with Bloomberg, Word, and Excel.
