About the role
Business Analyst - Health and Safety Hybrid (Infrequent travel to Warwick) 6 months, £440 per day (Inside IR35)
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering digital products that facilitate organisational change, particularly in safety and health. The successful candidate will have a strong background in traditional business analysis methodologies and a proven ability to facilitate change management processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Change Impact Assessment: Evaluate the potential impact of proposed changes on business processes, systems, and stakeholders, identifying risks and dependencies.
2. Stakeholder Management: Identify and engage with key stakeholders to gather feedback and address concerns related to change.
3. Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
4. Change Communication: Partner with the SHECQ Communications team to develop and implement change communication plans, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
5. Training and Support: Plan and deliver training programmes to assist employees and suppliers in adapting to new processes, providing ongoing support for successful adoption.
6. Process Mapping and Design: Analyse current processes to identify areas for improvement, designing and documenting new processes that support change initiatives.
7. Change Readiness Assessment: Work with Performance Management and Supply Chain teams to assess supplier organisations' readiness for change and develop mitigation strategies.
8. Implementation Support: Assist with change implementation, providing guidance and support for a smooth transition.
9. Change Management Planning: Collaborate with SHECQ Safety, Performance Management, and Supply Chain teams to develop and execute change management plans.
10. Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on change initiative progress, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for future changes.
11. Collaboration: Work closely with IT, project management, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the change process.
Must Have
* Proven experience in business analysis, strategy, and change management within large organisations.
* Strong analytical capabilities, a strategic mindset, and experience working with cross-functional teams.
* A robust and proven track record as a Business Analyst.
* Strong leadership skills, comfortable engaging with Working and Steering Groups, challenging stakeholders, and motivating teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Teams, Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Experience working with agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira.
* Relevant Business Analysis Certifications.
* Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of working across all organisational levels.
* A proactive and delivery-focused approach.
Nice to Have
* Previous experience within the energy sector, specifically in health and safety.
* Direct experience implementing change management initiatives through the adoption of digital products.
