Driver's Mate
Pay Rate: £13.39 per hour
Location: Newtownabbey
Hours: Monday - Friday 6am start (9 hour shift Max)
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Drivers Mate to support our delivery team in providing excellent service to customers. You will assist the driver with loading, unloading, and delivering furniture safely to customers homes.
Key Responsibilities
o Assist the driver with daily furniture deliveries
o Load and unload furniture safely and carefully
o Help carry heavy items into customers homes
o Assemble furniture when required
o Ensure products are delivered without damage
o Communicate professionally with customers
o Help keep the delivery vehicle clean and organised
o Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
o Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy furniture
o Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
o Good communication and customer service skills
o Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
1. Previous warehouse or delivery experience is beneficial but not essential
