Logistics Analyst Dorking, Surrey £40,000 per annum ProTech Recruitment is working with a global organisation to recruit an experienced Logistics Analyst to support international logistics operations from their Dorking site. The Role As the Logistics Analyst you will play a key role in managing and analysing global freight activity, supporting contract negotiations, ensuring accurate freight payment, and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments in a cost-effective and compliant manner. Key responsibilities include: Analysing freight contracts, rates and shipping routes Requesting and evaluating freight quotes from approved carriers Maintaining tariffs, surcharges and rate summaries in Excel Reviewing freight invoices and ensuring accurate GL coding Coordinating shipments with freight forwarders and carriers Supporting internal teams with tracking, expedited shipments and cost analysis Monitoring logistics spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities About You Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline Proven experience in international logistics Experience with cold chain logistics and biological sample shipments Understanding of Incoterms and Hazmat / Dangerous Goods requirements Experience with Oracle Cloud and Freight Payment Centres Strong Excel skills with a data-driven, problem-solving mindset...
