This role would suit someone with good practical and communication skills.\u202F \n\nAs well as extensive training in a fast-paced workplace, you will also work towards gaining a Level 3 qualification in Body Repair, putting you on the road to a successful career in the automotive industry.\u202F Day-to-day duties\u202F \n\nRepairing vehicle damage to manufacturersâ specifications.\u202F \n\nCarrying out general housekeeping in the bodyshop.\u202F \n\nLiaising with mentors and supervisors to carry out tasks.\u202F \n\nRemoving and refitting vehicle body panels and trims.\u202F \n\nApplying body fillers to rectify panels.\u202F \n\nSetting up and testing equipment.\u202F Essential skills\u202F \n\nYou must have National 4 or above or an accredited equivalent in Maths, English and a traditional science or a technical subject. \n\nGood standards of literacy and numeracy.\u202F \n\nGreat communication and listening skills.\u202F \n\nAbility to work safely while completing workshop tasks.\u202F \n\nA professional and responsible attitude.\u202F \n\nAbility to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.\u202F \n\nGood attention to detail and ability to multi-task.\u202F \n\nWillingness to learn and follow instructions.\u202F \n\n \n\nEmployment within the Arnold Clark Group is offered subject to satisfactory reference and disclosure check.\u202F \n\nWe consider applications as we receive them and reserve the right to close adverts early (for example, where we have received an unprecedented high volume of applications).
