Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. Job expectations include applying and expanding knowledge by completing required licenses and trainings. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action, including termination.
Responsibilities:
* Work with clients to plan their financial goals and build a financial plan with brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking solutions.
* Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals.
* Triages client requests and makes referrals to internal service providers.
* Mitigate and control risk during daily activities.
* Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or existing clientele.
* Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners.
Required Qualifications:
* Hold Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses. If only 63 or 65 are held, must pass the missing series within 60 days.
* At least one year experience in the investments industry and financial services or sales environment.
* Goals-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
* Effective communicator and confident engaging with clients.
* Ability to manage goals, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new information.
* Efficient time management skills.
* Thorough in regulatory due diligence and client strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
* Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
* Three or more years of experience in financial services or sales.
* Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
* Insurance licenses obtained.
