MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position. The Role: Attending start of shift briefings to receive targets for the day Assembly - Fixing and assembling small components for the rail and transport sector Fitting nuts, washers and bolts Use of glue guns Apply adhesives accurately to panel surfaces Fit aluminium and plastic rails to panels using hand tools and fixtures Use clamping tools to secure components during the bonding process Pack finished products carefully for dispatch, following packing guidelines Use of different hand and power tools Carrying out visual quality checks of products, reporting defects to team leaders / supervisor General housekeeping duties and additional duties as and when required Strict adherence to health and safety standards Keeping the work area tidy, by sweeping and emptying bins if needed The Person: Familiar with hand tools Must have excellent attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and work to quality standards Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills A team player with a positive, proactive attitude The Benefits: Ongoing vacancy in a busy industry Onsite parking On-the-job training provided Overtime available The Hours: 08:00am 17:00pm Monday to Friday The Pay: £12.21 per hour
