Key Responsibilities:
Leadership
1. Create and Oversee the Project Team
2. Ensure full compliance with British Standards
3. Drive a strong EHS Culture and ensure zero harm
4. Drive Growth within the business and protect margin
5. Collaborate with the sales team to increase bid win rate
6. Strategic Leadership
7. Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
8. Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
9. Drive performance improvement initiatives across all operational functions.
Operational Management
10. Manage day-to-day operations across multiple construction sites.
11. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
12. Optimize resource allocation, supply chain management, and subcontractor performance.
Financial Oversight
13. Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
14. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
15. Support commercial teams in contract negotiations and risk management.
Team Development
16. Lead, mentor, and develop project managers and operational staff.
17. Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
18. Implement training programs to enhance technical and leadership skills.
Stakeholder Engagement
19. Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
20. Act as a key point of contact for operational queries and escalations.
21. Represent the company in industry forums and networking events.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications & Experience
22. Full UK driving licence.
23. Previous experience in a fire compliance or fire detection design role.
24. Strong working knowledge of BS 5839, FIA standards, and BAFE schemes.
25. Experience in fire alarm system installation and commissioning.
26. Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
27. Proven ability to manage change and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Skills
28. Prior experience in a Project leadership role.
29. Familiarity with security systems alongside fire systems.
30. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Power Automate.
31. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
32. Commercial awareness and ability to support business growth.
