Job Summary
NetApp is seeking a passionate and innovative Senior Software Engineer to join our AI Services team. Job Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
1. Design and deliver complex cloud-native applications that meet performance, scale, and reliability requirements.
2. Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks or libraries such as React or Angular, including building responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
3. Solid programming experience in server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Golang or RUST).
4. Proven ability to develop RESTful APIs or microservices, work with web frameworks, and integrate with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
5. Collaborate closely with team members to integrate systems and ensure high-quality deliverables for customer success.
6. Build modern CI/CD infrastructure that reliably supports several hundred developers working on interconnected software deployment pipelines.
7. Actively mentor and groom new hires and other team members to build a strong and cohesive team.
8. Work as part of a larger team, collaborating closely with team members and leadership to ensure overall team objectives are met as ONE team.
Preferred Skills and Experience
9. Experience in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
10. Experience with back-end development using Node.js, Python, Java, Golang, or Rust.
11. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
12. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
13. Understanding of security best practices, including authentication/authorization (OAuth, SSO), encryption, and compliance standards.
14. Familiarity with AI concepts and experience working with intelligent agents or AI-driven solutions.
Job Requirements
15. 8+ years of industry experience in software development.
16. 3+ years of experience in data management systems and storage platforms for managing and storing data across various workloads and environments.
17. 3+ years of expert-level hands-on experience in fault-tolerant, highly scalable cloud architectures, including service-oriented architectures, cloud-native (FAAS, PAAS), and cloud storage services with at least one hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, GCP).
