Apprenticeship Skills Tutor : Business and Management
Location: Rotherham and Worksop (with subsidised travel where applicable and hybrid working)
Salary: Up to A GBP 31,264 per annum (dependant on qualification and experience) + benefits
Hours: Full time (37hrs per week, all year round)

The Role

The rewarding position involves teaching and coaching learners who need varied assessments and assignments to be carried out on the Level 2, 3 and 5 Business and Management Standards in order to pass their end point assessment.
This role involves regular use of e:portfolios and carrying out on:site performance reviews, teaching and assessments to ensure the next generation of business and management professionals are the very best. Using your excellent IT skills, you will maintain accurate records of student progress via tracking systems and e:portfolios.
You will need to be able to build good relationships, manage a caseload of apprentices and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and organisations.
Skills And Qualifications
* Be a confident tutor who can teach and engage with a wide variety of learners and bring the subject matter to life in a creative and engaging way.
* Experience in creating and delivering programmes within the Business and Management sector.
* An Assessor Award.
* Be a highly qualified individual within the Business and Management sector and have current experience at managerial level.
* A teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards.
* An IQA qualification is desirable.
* Excellent IT skills.
* English and maths at level 2 (GCSE or equivalent).
* Management qualification at level 5 or above.
Department Info
As part of the department of Work based Learning you will report directly to the Curriculum Team Leader/Curriculum Manager. You will play an active role in the curriculum team, working with key stakeholders such as Curriculum Team Leaders, Curriculum Manager, and Curriculum Lecturers etc.
You will also build good working relationships with other key stakeholders in apprenticeship programmes such as the English and Maths dept and will be able to adopt a flexible and proactive approach to supporting learners undertaking qualifications in the workplace.
