Protocol Education is seeking reliable, proactive, and practical Caretakers to support schools across Haringey on a short-term, daily supply basis.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a hands-on position and take pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-managed environments for students and staff.
With a variety of school settings, each day brings new responsibilities while playing a key role in the smooth operation of the school site.
What you’ll be doing:
* Opening and securing school premises at the start and end of the day
* Carrying out general maintenance and basic repairs
* Ensuring school buildings and grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained
* Completing routine health and safety checks
* Setting up rooms for lessons, assemblies, and school events
* Monitoring site security and reporting issues promptly
You’ll need:
* Previous experience in a caretaker, site assistant, or maintenance role (preferred)
* Strong practical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
