Skills for Life Lecturer - ESOL 16-18 with Kent Training and Apprenticeships (KTA) Part of CLS
We have a vacancy at our Gillingham site for a Skills for Life Lecturer. You will be teaching ESOL and Entry level Functional Skills maths to a class of 16-18 year olds, 2 days a week. Your teaching days, initially, will be Monday and Wednesday, 8.30-4.30, with a 2 days for preparation (to be discussed at interview), training and additional cover for other sites. All days are 8.30-4.30.
You will be joining an expanding team, teaching and working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and those seeking asylum with their families. Experience of working with this age range would be preferred and having a teaching qualification is expected. This role is suitable for someone wanting to meet a challenge, extend their knowledge base and expand upon their CPD.
This is a part-time, 2-year fixed term role (29.6 hours per week), which will include working for other sections of KTA during the holidays to cover Work Ready programmes along with other duties. This role is available for immediate start.
