Information Governance Lead – School of Medicine, Leeds Institute of Health Sciences
You will join our team to provide leadership and expert specialist advice in relation to Information Governance and Data Protection for the collection, processing, storage and release of health‑related research data by LIHS academic staff and post‑graduate research students.
You will develop and manage the Institute’s quality assurance system for information governance and data protection, including:
* A triage system supporting academics and post‑graduate research students in the assessment of information and data protection/IT storage requirements for research proposals using a risk based approach;
* Standard operating procedures, including standard text for internal and external data storage and processing approval applications;
* An audit programme.
