Job Title: Support Worker Company: Bluestones Medical Location: Various settings (Residential, Supported Living, Community, NHS/Private Services) Reports to: Service Manager / Senior Support Worker Job Purpose As a Support Worker with Bluestones Medical, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with varying needs, helping them to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide practical and emotional support to service users in line with individual care plans Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility Support service users with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication prompting, and housekeeping Promote independence, choice, and inclusion at all times Build positive, professional relationships with service users, families, and colleagues Observe, monitor, and accurately record service users’ physical and emotional wellbeing Report any concerns, changes, or incidents promptly in line with company policies Support service users to access the community, attend appointments, and engage in social activities Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures Work in accordance with CQC standards, company policies, and best practice guidelines Requirements Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a care setting (preferred but not essential) A caring, patient, and compassionate approach Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays Strong communication and interpersonal skills Right to work in the UK Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable) What Bluestones Medical Offers Competitive hourly rates Flexible working opportunities Ongoing training and development Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support Opportunities to work across a range of healthcare settings
