Expleo Engineering have a vacancy for a Facilities Engineer in a new BEV battery plant in the North East The ideal candidate will have vehicle battery experience and will be responsible for the specification and design of production cells within the new facility. The candidate will lease with suppliers and installers to ensure the equipment is fit for purpose and within the companies specified requirements. Degree level or equivalent Knowledge of vehicle HV batteries and their assembly Have an understanding of electrical equipment and its specifications Experience of generating specification for the layout of a production cell Have experience of installation of machinery Work to schedules and time frames A knowledge of regulations and safety Experience in FAT The position will work both on-site and off-site The role will require travel to suppliers (mainly in Europe, possibly further afield) Therefore we need to understand Visa restrictions of candidate in regards to travel. Passport with no travel restrictions imposed on the candidate.
