Hours: 36 per week
Week 1 - 7am - 3pm (48-minute break)
Week 2 - 1pm - 9pm (48-minute break)

We are looking for a Facilities Technician Supervisor to join the team to cover several buildings around New Portobello High School and Portobello Area. Shifts will be pro rata consisting of week 1 and week 2; the successful candidate will need to be flexible in their working hours.
Responsibilities
* Manage a number of buildings and be responsible for supervising a number of Janitorial Staff within the area.
* Audit processes, provide good customer service and solve problems as they arise.
* Work with IT equipment and software packages; IT competency is essential.
Qualifications & Preconditions
* Experience in staff supervision is essential.
* Experience in auditing, customer service and problem solving preferred.
* Experience with IT equipment and software packages is essential.
* This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007; the preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
* Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outwith the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
