FITTER/TESTER
Workshop - ELLAND - 4-Day working week - compressed hours from Monday to Thursday
Requirements: The main duties of this role include assembly, testing, instrumentation, and related tasks for valves & controls to a high standard. The role also involves ensuring health & safety standards, driving 6S standards, updating data matrices daily, improving quality and customer satisfaction, maintaining operational logs, adhering to SOPs, problem-solving, sharing knowledge, checking test equipment, performing valve tests, liaising with inspectors, inputting test data, and ensuring safety compliance.
Essential Experience:
* Valve instrumentation
* Piping
* Calibration of positioners
* Actuator setting
* Function testing
* Hysteresis and deadband testing
