You will be responsible for building resilient supplier networks, driving supplier performance, improving cost efficiencies, and ensuring continuity of supply within a complex engineering environment.This position would suit an experienced procurement professional with a strong strategic sourcing background gained within manufacturing, engineering, or other technical industries.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement category strategies aligned with wider business objectivesManage and optimise supplier relationships and supplier performanceEstablish long-term agreements and supply continuity plansDrive supplier onboarding and supplier rationalisation activitiesLead cost reduction and value engineering initiatives across the supply baseSecure supplier capacity through forecasting, planning, and contractual agreementsWork closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Service teamsSupport business continuity and supply chain risk mitigation strategiesEnsure suppliers meet regulatory, ethical, and environmental compliance standardsFacilitate early supplier involvement in new product and technology projectsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 10 years' procurement experience within manufacturing or engineeringPrevious experience in a strategic sourcing or category management roleCIPS Level 4 qualified (or equivalent)Strong understanding of supply chain strategy, cost analysis, and supplier managementAbility to read and understand technical drawingsExperience negotiating long-term supplier agreementsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong commercial awareness and analytical capabilityWhat's On OfferHybrid working arrangementExcellent long-term career progression opportunitiesCollaborative and innovation-driven cultureCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work within a globally recognised engineering environmentIf you are an experienced procurement professional looking to step into a strategic role within a highly technical and forward-thinking organisation, we would be keen to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
