The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the Accounting operations of the organisation, Adept at leading finance teams, improving efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with international tax and audit regulations.
Strong strategic partner to senior leadership, driving business growth through financial insight.
Responsibilities
Ensuring that the organisation meets the necessary tax and licencing requirements
Collaborating with an executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of a companys ledger
Oversee management accounts, accounts payable and receivable and general accounting tasks
Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures
Providing management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategising
Summarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to Managers
Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support
Taking care of tax preparation duties or liaising with external tax accountants for tax preparation
Supporting payroll manager with compliance, journal entries and reconciliation
Managing the accounts team
Essential requirements:
Chartered Management Accountant with extensive experience in financial management, risk analysis, and strategic planning.
Hold full UK Driving license.
Work on own Initiative
Reliable and Punctual
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Proficient in financial analysis and budget management.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.

Proficient in using accounting software
You must also be able to work within a team and thrive under pressure, the environment in which you will work is very fast paced.
Must be capable of managing and motivating a team, ensuring clear delegation of tasks, effective communication, and accountability across all team members.
