The role
Your main responsibility as a Functional Assessor will be to evaluate individuals and how their disabilities or conditions impact their work life. Using your clinical expertise, you will gather medical histories, perform physical examinations, and produce concise reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to determine benefit eligibility.
The role involves face-to-face and remote assessments via telephone/video. You will need to be sensitive, compassionate, and capable of asking the right questions while maintaining high standards of practice.
You will have sufficient time for each assessment and will work independently within a multidisciplinary team, receiving support as needed.

About You
* An GPhC Registered Pharmacist with at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last five years.
* Continuous Professional Development (CPD) documented on your CV.
* Excellent communication skills, adaptable to a changing environment.
* Proficient IT skills and experience with various software.
* Self-aware and committed to professional growth.
* Honest, maintaining integrity and confidentiality.
* Motivated to deliver quality customer service with empathy and respect.
* Capable of working independently to meet deadlines and standards.
* A reliable team player willing to support a multidisciplinary team.
* Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
