About The Role
To support the delivery of markets & fairs service by undertaking operational duties including: Cleaning, the erecting and dismantling of stalls, maintenance and security and communicating effectively with citizens, service users and members of the team.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience of cleaning work to a high standard
* Must have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide cross section of the community.
* Be able to complete forms legibly.
* Must have the ability to lift, assemble and dismantle heavy market equipment
* Willing to work unsociable hours in line with the requirements of the service (evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
* A good degree of physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors for sustained periods of time
* Ability to travel to various sites for work purposes
* Numerate to collect cash
