You will manage a portfolio ofmotor third-party claimsfrom start to finish, with a focus onliability decisionsand resolving thecredit hireelement of each claim. Using your negotiation skills and technical knowledge, you will help achieve fair and efficient outcomes while maintaining excellent customer service.

This is ahybrid role, allowing flexibility to balance home and office working once probation is complete.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload ofcredit hire claimsfrom notification to settlement.
* Investigateindemnity and liability, negotiating to achieve fair outcomes.
* Challenge and control costs, negotiating settlements to minimise exposure.
* Handleinbound and outbound calls, providing professional and clear communication.
* Maintain accuraterecords, reserves, and diariesto ensure efficient claims management.
* Work withinauthority limits, escalating where necessary.
* Ensure compliance withFCA, TCF, and DPArequirements.
* Build strong working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and business partners.
* Take responsibility for yourown development, supported by training and coaching.
What Were Looking For
* Experience inmotor claims handling, ideally with knowledge of credit hire, indemnity, liability, and third-party risks.
* Strongnegotiation and decision-makingskills with a focus on cost control.
* Confident telephone manner, able to handle challenging conversations professionally.
* Excellentorganisational skillswith the ability to manage your own workload.
* Ateam playerwith strong communication and customer service skills.
* Commercially aware, adaptable, and keen to learn and develop.
