Bohr Limited, a leading green energy company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical or Process Engineer to drive forward our projects, research, and innovations in sustainable energy solutions. Your Primary Focus:
1. Engineering Excellence:
Lead mechanical and process engineering efforts across a variety of projects, ranging from designing renewable energy systems to optimizing existing processes for efficiency and sustainability.
2. Project Leadership:
Your main role will be the mechanical and process lead for a number of related green gas projects, working with a small team to deliver engineering excellence. Additionally, you will take charge of smaller-scale projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate complex engineering challenges from conception to implementation.
3. Design and Analysis:
Develop and analyze mechanical designs, including equipment layouts, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and process flow diagrams (PFDs), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Technical Expertise:
Apply your knowledge of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer to develop innovative solutions and troubleshoot engineering issues as they arise.
5. Safety and Compliance:
Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering design and operations, adhering to relevant industry standards and regulations to ensure the well-being of personnel and the environment.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
Create detailed engineering specifications, reports, and documentation to communicate project requirements, progress, and outcomes effectively.
7. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement through data analysis and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Who You Are:
Engineering Expert: Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a solid foundation in mechanical design principles and processes. Experience in the natural gas sector is critical. Proficient in UK gas industry concepts.
Analytical Mindset: Proficient in engineering analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions to drive engineering solutions.
Team Player: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
Project Management Skills: Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Passionate about Sustainability: Demonstrated interest in renewable energy technologies and a commitment to driving positive environmental impact through engineering innovation.
