About The Role
We are now seeking a Learning Designer, who is passionate about raising the profile and reputation of Falmouth University through improving learning and teaching across all Falmouth online courses with a key focus on online delivery, digital assessment, and interactive learning resources.
Digital Learning is a forward-thinking specialist team within the institution who work in partnership with academic departments to develop courses for fully online delivery. The team leads project work in relation to digital learning and give pedagogic advice, guidance, and support to Academics in developing their courses.
This position represents a great opportunity to join an energetic group of creative digital learning staff passionate about enhancing and developing learning and teaching through use of innovative pedagogic design for online learning and appropriate digital tools.
About You
The successful candidate will be committed to facilitating engaging learning journeys within creative subject areas. You will provide clear advice and support in the development and use of online pedagogic learning to support institutional learning initiatives and enhance the student-learning journey.
The role requires a highly organised individual who has previous experience of working within course design practices and is a strong advocate of digital learning tools and approaches.
This is a fast-paced role, and we are looking for a person who has the energy and commitment needed to ensure the work we do is sector leading.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Knowledge of the design of pedagogic and assessment processes.
* Experience in the use of digital tools to enhance learning and teaching.
* Previous experience working in a supportive, technology-focused environment.

This is a full time, 35 hours a week position across Monday-Friday. We are able to offer a remote working arrangement for this role, if required, which can be discussed further at interview. If taking up the position remotely, the successful candidate would need to be based within the UK.
