Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Team at the new Orthopaedic Hub in Llandudno Hospital. There may also be times where you are asked to work in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd as part of the wider Orthopaedic Therapy Team.

In this role, you will work across the orthopaedic pathway, providing specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients following trauma and elective surgery. The caseload in Llandudno will primarily be arthroplasty but you will see a varied caseload, including complex fractures, joint replacements, and multi-trauma cases—offering both challenge and reward in your day-to-day practice.

We're seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and compassionate individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Effective teamwork is essential, as you'll collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, occupational therapists, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

We place great importance on continuing professional development, offering regular in-service training, peer support, and opportunities to contribute to service development alongside our Clinical Specialist and Physiotherapy management team. You'll also have the chance to develop leadership skills through supervisory responsibilities and involvement in service improvement projects.

Main duties of the job
