🚀 Software Development Manager
📍 Plymouth, Devon, South West | Hybrid (2–3 days on-site per week)

We’re exclusively partnered with a leading technology organisation in Devon that’s continuing to scale. They’re now looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead and mature their engineering function.
This is a hands‑off leadership role, with a strong focus on delivery excellence, quality, and the day‑to‑day management of multi‑disciplinary software teams.
🔑 What you’ll be doing
* Lead engineering delivery across frontend, backend, QA, and offshore teams
* Ensure consistent, high‑quality releases through strong engineering standards and SDLC governance
* Collaborate closely with Product and Technology leaders on planning, prioritisation, and delivery
* Own release management and drive continuous improvement in software quality
* Support the safe and effective adoption of AI tools to enhance development efficiency
* Mentor and develop engineers while fostering a collaborative, high‑performing culture
* QA (Manual & Automation)
