Senior Indirect Buyer - Europe
Location: Folkestone | Hybrid working available
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Senior Indirect Buyer to lead sourcing and supplier strategies across the UK and Europe. You'll oversee a diverse range of indirect categories - including Marketing, MRO, IT, HR, Professional Services, and Logistics - driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, and shaping a five-year procurement strategy that delivers real value.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and global colleagues, you'll play a key role in achieving operational efficiency, building strong supplier partnerships, and ensuring alignment with international procurement goals.
What You'll Do
* Lead strategic sourcing and cost-saving initiatives across multiple indirect categories.
* Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure best value and service.
* Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
* Build strong relationships across the organisation and with key suppliers.
* Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with global procurement teams to share best practice and align strategies.
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years' experience in indirect procurement, ideally across UK/EU operations.
* Proven success in delivering cost savings and managing supplier relationships.
* Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management experience.
* Confident managing diverse procurement categories in a fast-paced environment.
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* CIPS qualification (or working towards it) preferred.
