The Role
At Babcock International Group, you will step away from the tools and into a role where you’ll shape the next generation of military engineering professionals. As an Electronics Trainer based at Lyneham, you’ll deliver high‑impact technical training to defence personnel, covering electronics, radar, telecommunications and avionics systems. This work directly supports the UK’s operational readiness and national security while advancing your own career in a dynamic environment.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
* Preparing and delivering engaging technical training modules using modern learning technologies
* Developing and maintaining course materials, assessments and trainee records
* Monitoring trainee progress and providing tailored support and feedback
* Participating in quality assurance activities to continuously improve training delivery
* Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders across defence schools
This role is full time, 37 hours per week, and is based on site at Lyneham.

Essential Experience
* Supervisory experience in a technical or engineering environment
* Proven experience in a relevant working environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Qualifications
* HNC in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., General Electronics, Radar, Electronic Control, Telecommunications, or Avionic Systems) or significant experience in the field
* Willingness to complete a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Learning within 12 months of employment
