GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learning in a welcoming school in Sinfin. This TA role offers a rewarding opportunity to work alongside experienced educators and make a meaningful difference in students academic and personal development.
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis to reinforce learning objectives.
* Assisting the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and setting up activities.
* Helping pupils develop their confidence, social skills, and independence.
* Delivering targeted interventions under the guidance of teaching staff.
* Encouraging inclusive participation and engagement across the curriculum.
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:
* Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps in the last 10 years.
