Responsibilities
As a full‑time arboricultural consultant based at the Sevenoaks office, you will manage your own clients and projects, deliver consultancy services across trees and development, trees and subsidence, tree surveying, inventories and tree risk assessment, and provide internal advice and services to the consultancy team.
Qualifications
* Previous experience delivering a consultancy service within a commercial environment
* High‑standard technical reports and professional communication
* Experience with planners, architects, engineers and contractors
* Team‑working ability and holistic tree & landscape advice
* Commercial awareness, business acumen and financial target attainment
* Planning system knowledge, legislation, policy, tree & fungal identification, advanced tree assessments (tomography / resistance micro‑drill)
* Knowledge of ancient and veteran trees, health & legislation for trees
* Relevant degree or masters in ecological / environmental; supplementary professional memberships and vocational training certification
* Excellent IT skills, attention to detail; AutoCAD experience desirable
* Full driving licence
