Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Permanent post.
We seek a motivated healthcare professional to join as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the trauma and orthopaedic department at Royal Bolton Hospital. The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled team dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care.
This role offers a salary at Band 8a. Non-medical prescribing is required.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in an acute and/or surgical setting preferred.
* Knowledge/experience in Orthopaedics and frailty is desirable.
* Willingness to learn and develop.
* Self-motivated with a focus on improving patient care through advanced skills, leadership, education, and research.
Support and Development
The postholder will receive clinical supervision from an Orthogeriatrician and ACP, with access to CPD aligned with all four domains of advanced practice.

Role Responsibilities
* Providing high-quality holistic care, especially for older, frail orthopaedic patients under supervision.
* Acting as a liaison within the multidisciplinary team.
* Managing own caseload, making high-level clinical decisions.
* Facilitating inter-professional care, maintaining records.
* Engaging in research and audit activities.
* Developing and delivering educational programs.
* Ordering and interpreting radiological imaging.
* This is a non-medical prescribing position.
