Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in Newark. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing essential support and assistance in their daily activities, aligning with our mission of care and respect.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a warm environment.
* Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress.
* Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding care needs.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to resident care.
* Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is preferred.
* Strong understanding of care plans and home care practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
